Baked Kale Chips


I love junk food. I am from the South. Fried and greasy is the best. Clearly that is not the healthiest lifestyle. I am trying (slowly) to make healthier choices, one by one.

Step one: From Lays to Kale

Cajun Kale Chips

Kale ( I used baby Kale, but regular is fluffier)

Olive Oil



Cajun Seasoning ( I used Bojangles Fry Seasoning)

1. Preheat over to 350 F.

2. In a bowl toss wash/dried kale with Olive Oil.

3. On a non stick oven pan (I used a pan with tin foil and sprayed with coconut oil cooking spray so none of the chips stuck) place kale.

4. Dust kale with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning to taste.

5. Bake for 10-12 minutes. You want the kale to be crispy but still green. Put all crispy pieces on paper towel to pull any extra olive oil out. If there are pieces that are soggy, throw those back in for a few minutes.

6. Let cool and enjoy!!!

Place left over chips in a Tupperware container.

Guilt free and delicious. The beauty in these, you can use any flavor you want.
