My little brother graduated! If I could shout this from the roof tops I would.
Of course, I jump at any chance for a trip to Charleston. I am still unsure how my mom, is in fact my mom, when she doesn’t like Chucktown. But that is besides the point. The extended weekend started off with all of us having a mild melt down because of the tropical depression that decided to show up prior to its season (it’s not your time, go home!!!) Luckily, for us it rained on Thursday with a few showers here and there, but as an overall, Christian’s graduation weekend was perfect. Saturday was beautiful and we were all able to celebrate with the no-see-em’s. The weekend was topped off with Nick being able to get off duty and visit us. Having all of the most important men in my life (minus Rockmonster of course) together with me at one time is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity I will never forget.
There is just never enough time for me while I am in Charleston. I want to see everything over and over again. Hopefully, next time I visit its for vacation and nothing else. Here is to hoping.
BTW: I made mom drink a mimosa while wearing pearls. #winning
